ABOUT ME
“Creating a better world is a responsibility of us all and I choose to incorporate that consciousness into fashion.”In between kissing my yummy child, I create accessories from my NJ-based studio primarily from recycled leather and exotic skins from found garments. I simply believe that luxurious, hand-made, well-designed accessories can also be environmentally-friendly and affordable.I've earned a degree in accessory design from F.I.T. and fine arts from Thomas Edison State College. I worked in the corporate fashion industry for a decade as a technical designer for footwear, costume and apparel companies. I am grateful to share my experiences by teaching design workshops and through my book ENVISION. I also take great pleasure in sharing resources and the amazing people I've met along my journey in my blog, LIFESTYLES OF THE AUTHENTIC & CREATIVE.
